About the Role:
This newly created role is based in our client's Melbourne headquarters, offering the flexibility to work locally or remotely in the Eastern States. Reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, this role calls for a seasoned Sales Leader with a track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, developing value propositions, and positioning our client as a market leader.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and achieving ambitious sales targets, while providing strategic direction to the sales team.
- Developing and executing sales growth strategies, in alignment with company objectives.
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the sales team to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiating major deals and partnerships to drive mutual success.
- Developing and implementing sales department objectives and strategies.
- Monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Staying informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Traveling to client sites and industry events to build relationships and explore new opportunities.
About You:
- 7-10 years of successful sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- A deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving results.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (preferred).
