The role
An exciting opportunity is now available in DevelopmentWA’s Operations division.
As the Sales Officer reporting to Manager Sales you will be responsible for processing sales contracts, valuation/list prices for the Metropolitan and Industrial divisions as well as the management of DevelopmentWA’s real estate Agency Agreements. You will work closely with Development Managers and Project Marketing managers in delivering sales targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and coordinating Contracts of Sale
- Working closely with Conveyancing, processing variations to Contracts of Sale
- Providing support to Manager Sales and Sales Officers to ensure team priorities are met.
- List Price administration as required under DevelopmentWA policy and in conjunction with Development Managers.
- Managing and coordinating communication with selling agents
- Managing and maintaining the master register for selling agents and Agency Agreement terms and conditions.
- Managing the review process for renewal of agency agreements.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Demonstrated understanding of real estate sales contracts, contract law applicable to offer and acceptance and real estate sales methodologies.
- Knowledge of real estate agency roles and responsibilities, real estate marketing and principals and practices.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use computer skills to learn to update the website and new systems as required.
- Demonstrated ability of strong written communication skills.
- Current Sales Representative Registration and up to date CPD points.
- Excellent interpersonal skills particularly in building relationships and influencing people at all levels.
