Form of workS&J Mineral Group are a family-owned business with a head office and warehouse located in Somersby and a second warehouse in Guilford NSW. We are a trading company, buying, manufacturing and on selling water treatment chemicals and products together with our own transport division.
The role
Reporting to the Company Director, this role is pivotal to the company’s success in achieving its growth plans. Your role will be to attract new business and upsell new product lines to our current customer base.
Building relationships with key decision makers, providing ongoing support and launching new products are key responsibilities for this role. As the company is in a rapid growth phase, you will also have responsibility for new business development. You will be confident in servicing clients in a range of environments.
This role is based at Somersby; however, you will be visiting customers and contacts in areas ranging from Newcastle, Hunter Region, Central Coast, Sydney and Greater Sydney. The position is full time, Monday to Friday 0700 - 1506.
Your experience
Recent sales experience highly regarded, with proven ability in account management and new business development.
Your skills
Key requirements for the role include strong networking skills, sound presentation capability, persuasive communication style and solid proposal writing skills. You will be skilled at developing and maintaining relationships at all levels of management. Your ethical approach and attitude combined with your exceptional sales skills will allow you to develop business across a range of customers with targeted solutions. You must be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
We need someone who loves a challenge, works well in a team environment as well as autonomously, and has a can-do approach. The role will suit someone who is extremely organized and has great time management skills.
