Promac Tools, established in 1981, is 100% Australian owned and operated, we import and distribute quality tool brands. We exclusively represent and distribute quality products to Tool Specialists and Industrial Hardware stores throughout Australia.
We are currently searching for a Sydney based Area Sales Representative to hit the road and work with our NSW clients based throughout the state. We are looking for someone capable of delivering top quality results, with consistency and reliability. Reporting to the National Sales Manager based in Brisbane head office.
This role will include:
- Maintaining and calling on current NSW customer base
- Planning sales trips for metro and country areas
- Planning and preparing for client meetings, presentations, and events
- Tracking and managing all client activity and new leads
- Developing new business and building relationships
- Research and development within your area for new dealers
- Setting up merchandise for new clients/existing and maintaining displays in stores
- Educating dealers across our product range and conduct product training for dealers
- Product demonstrations to end-users and onsite training
- Attending demonstration days, expo's and shows representing our brand
- Liaising with head office customer service team to assist with NSW enquiries
Role requirements:
- Experience in Sales and or Business Development
- A proven track record in creating and maintaining existing and new revenue streams within the tool/construction industry
- A passion for learning new products
- The ability to work autonomously in NSW and report to Brisbane Head Office
- Prepared to travel - NSW country trips approx. every 6 weeks.

About you:
Perhaps you have a construction/trades background, and you are looking for a Career change?
