AddressWe are hiring a Sales Representative for one of Australia’s leading suppliers of interior and exterior surface coatings. Their solutions are used extensively in domestic, architectural and commercial applications
In this role, you will report to the State Sales Manager and regularly visit and service customers.
Responsibilities :
-Developing new business for existing customers and winning new customers.
-Monitoring and reporting competitors and other market activity.
-Liaising with the Credit Department
-Maintaining accurate customer records and weekly call cycles.
-Updating customers about new product releases, price movements, and -special price updates and efficiently communicating with customers to meet their needs.
About you:
-Ideally, you have a tertiary qualification majoring in marketing, business studies/management (economics, finance) or chemistry or a relevant trade certificate
-Min 2 years experience in an F2F Sales role or BD- not just phone sales, we are looking for a salesperson who can develop long-term relationships with clients.
-You are confident with a “can do” attitude – even when the going gets tough
-Good Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft
-Must have a Driver’s license with a good driving record.
-Highly organised with good attention to detail.
The role requires office days ( based in Dandenong) + travel days (in the MEL area).
Start salary 70-75K +super+ company car
