The role
Due to overall business growth, we are seeking a Victoria/Tasmania Sales Representative who will be responsible for the management and growth of a strong network of distributors. These distributors sell our products into Paint & Panel Repairers and into local Industrial style businesses. Your job is to work with these distributors to help them sell more of our products with a primary goal of focusing on sell through. While there are technical aspects of this role relating to our products that will be challenging, you will be confident in your ability to sell and flourish as we will provide you with in depth technical product training.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow top line sales within the Vic/Tas Distributor Network by assisting in sell through strategies, training, and promotions
- Create and harvest long terms customer/distributor relationships through providing exceptional value and being a trusted advisor
- Conduct end user and joint call activity with distributors to pull sales through and in turn drive company sales
- Innovate and create localized marketing campaigns with distributors that are focused on gaining market share and distributor buy-in
- Educate and your distributors on new products and non-ranged product lines that will deliver positive commercial outcomes
- Execute company sales campaigns and strategies to maximise market penetration
- Attend Automotive and Industrial Trade shows as required representing the brand and growing market exposure
Who you are:
You are an energetic and professional salesperson who has a history and a natural flair for getting results via building strong relationships and getting things done! Your sales experience may or may not be from the paint and panel market, but you have worked within distributor or branch network before, and you thrive on the thrill of selling and getting results. Your experience in related industries like automotive aftermarket or industrial sales with a successful previous track record will be highly regarded.
