Job Overview:
As a Sales Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering B2B relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring our client's products reach key markets. Your responsibilities will include:
· Developing new opportunities and nurturing relationships with distributors and key accounts.
· Understanding client needs, effectively promoting products, and achieving sales targets.
· Identifying and pursuing new business within assigned territories or markets.
· Conducting market research to stay abreast of customer needs, industry trends, and competitors.
· Collaborating with sales and technical teams to align initiatives and support sales efforts.
· Providing exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
· Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and performance.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
· A Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field is desired but not essential.
· Proven experience in B2B sales, or experience within Food Manufacturing.
· Strong sales techniques, and negotiation skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Self-motivation with a results-oriented mindset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Willingness to travel for meetings, trade shows, and events.
