We have a current position for a Sales Specialist to join our vibrant team.
Responsibilities include:
- Increasing Sales Revenue and achieving annual booking target.
- Promotion of Instron's product lines and marketing programs.
- Effectively translates product features to benefits, and proposes solution to potential customer applications.
- Maintaining accurate prospects and forecasts and updates them into the sales management system (CRM) in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Written, technical, and interpersonal skills commensurate with those generally acquired through the completion of a two-year technical degree, preferably in mechanical, electronics, electrical, engineering or materials science field.
- In-depth knowledge of materials testing applications and/or processes. This is generally acquired through 2-3 years of experience in a materials testing field service environment, or a materials testing quality assurance/quality control environment.
- Thorough understanding of direct sales techniques, preferably in sales of capital equipment or materials testing instrumentation. This is generally acquired through a minimum of 2 years direct sales experience in a related industry.
- Understanding of computer hardware and software and basic word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred (i.e. Excel and Word).
- Regular inter-state or international traveling is required.
