We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Support officer to support the sales team for our International Freight Forwarding client based in Port Melbourne. About you:
You should have experience in Sales Support in International Freight Forwarding and looking for your next move for a new rewarding role in International Freight Forwarding.
Your role will see you develop and maintain relationships with clients, support the sales team and management and work closely with operations staff and provide end-to-end customer service, including quoting and coordination of shipments.
Qualifications & experience – Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and Freight Forwarding.
To be successful you will have:
- Prior experience in Freight Forwarding including customer service, sales, or operations is desirable.
- Prior experience in International Freight Forwarding.
- Excellent communication skills both over the phone and email.
- Exhibit strong commercial acumen

- Enjoy problem solving through lateral thinking.
- Show initiative and want to make an impact.
- Be well organised and able to manage your time to meet deadlines.
- Enjoy helping customers with excellence in customer service.
- Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently.
- Have basic computer skills, with CargoWise experience.
