ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Support to join their successful Customer Service team.
This role is based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The position on offer is full-time, with working hours of 9am-5pm (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience in customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate and relate to people from all walks of life.
- Understanding of how tradespeople work and operate.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Plumbing and HVAC knowledge preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing inbound and outbound call traffic.
- Responding to customer email and phone enquiries.
- Entering phone sales orders into computer system.
- Preparing quotations.
- Processing orders.
- Investigating and rectifying any incorrect information in Orders Entered.
- Informing customers as to results of credit claims and returned stock queries.
- Calling customers and informing them of promotions, opportunities, and clearance stock available.
- Providing administrative services to support the company sales force.
- Undertaking receptionist duties on a roster/relief basis, as necessary.
