Our client is a Non For Profit organisation working closely with government and helping local Victorian Businesses win tenders and projects.
About the role:-
Working under the direction of the Digital Platforms and Projects Manager, you will
- Develop Salesforce Lightning Solutions and apply best practices and required standards in software development to deliver ICN's digital strategy including cybersecurity.
- Review and understand functional and non-functional business requirements and design and deliver solutions and technical coding strategies including development of Lightning UIs and components on the Salesforce platform.
- Lead on development activities and actively contribute to digital system team activities such as planning, scoping and regular stand-ups.
- Contribute to development task management with use of Atlassian Jira, Aha! and other Agile development tools
- Implement the requirements in the development environment including testing and deployment steps into production, using agile methodologies.
- Manage and document code repositories and test classes following continuous integration & delivery processes.
- Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions
- Create, adopt and implement system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
- Work collaboratively with customers and other teams on technical and functional issues.
- Respond to issues and ability to trouble-shoot level 2 and 3 technical problems
- Design, develop and support integrations between platforms e.g. Office 365, Salesforce and other external platforms.
- Minimum three years' Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce certifications e.g, App Builder, Developer I & II essential
- Detailed understanding of IT Systems development and familiarity with a range of project software tools e.g., Jira, Confluence.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in Salesforce Sales cloud technical development and solution design, including configuration and customization, Lightning UI, communities, knowledge, reporting and dashboards preferably in an agile development environment using Visualforce, Apex Lightning Components and JavaScript & JQuery
- Experience in the development, data management and maintenance of integrations between Salesforce and other platforms e.g. Office 365, SharePoint and external platforms
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, with the ability to translate technical information into business requirements to guide and assist product owners and project managers on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of applications and software systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working within a government, statutory body and/or not for profit sector will be well-regarded.
