If you’re currently searching for a new 12 month extendable contract, we have an outstanding opportunity working for our client who is a national corporate within the energy infrastructure sector. They are currently hiring for a PMO Lead, working on an SAP S/4HANA ERP deployment projects including Finance & Procurement. Reporting to the Program Leadership & working closely with our client team and system implementation partner to plan, manage and report on the operational program management.
This role will work closely with the ERP change and Business Readiness Lead, ERP Program Manager, ERP Program Director and system integrator PMO Lead. The role will also need to work closely with the Head of IT PMO to support central reporting and adherence to project methodologies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure adherence to wider organisational project governance, methodologies and standards.
- Establish and maintain project methods, governance, standards and templates, following the PMM wherever possible.
- Establish and maintain project operational tools (such as SharePoint for documentation management) and resource access to such tools.
- Work with all leadership teams and wider project resources to track, manage and report on: schedule, risks and issues, actions, changes, dependencies and deliverables.
Experience and Key Abilities:
- Project Management qualification (e.g. SAP Activate, PMBOK, Prince2).
- At least 5 years as an IT Project Manager / PMO Lead with demonstrated success operating in complex integrated environments.
- Oversee, orchestrate and integrate the activities of multiple project streams.
- Experience managing and working with teams across complex organisations using both internal and external resources.
- Demonstrated experience working in a PMO environment using prescribed methods and tools.
- Ability to self-manage and meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective project teams and able to lead by example
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in resolving differences, achieving a common ground and getting buy-in from stakeholders
- Previous Experience working in the Energy/Utilities and regulated environment very desirable
