About the role:
We’re seeking to engage with a new SAP Senior Functional Analyst to join our high performing Digital team. The primary purpose of the SAP Functional Analyst role is to supports the SAP-ISU applications within Applications Management through technical support, maintenance and continual improvement. The role supports SAP IS-U for revenue operations, accounts receivable and finance functions for electricity and gas divisions. The analyst will be responsible for configuring and maintaining these SAP IS-U functions within our systems.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborating with product owners and application SME’s to deliver small to medium application enhancements to meet business needs.
- Leading and driving requirements gathering, solution design, test and deployment activities.
- Ensuring that the systems and associated application and interfaces meets regulatory, reliability, performance, and availability requirement SLA’s
- Acting as an IT consultant, assessing new business requirements and initiatives against solutions to understand functional and technical fit, and make system recommendations for new capabilities and enhancement releases
- Project Work – May be assigned either part time or full time onto projects being delivered by the Program Delivery team. As part of the project team and reporting to a Project manager perform assigned tasks and follow relevant project procedures, methodologies.
About you:
To be considered for the role your resume will need to demonstrate experience engaging with application users to understand their ongoing IT requirements and ensure that the application development and support services delivered achieve agreed levels of quality and timeliness to support the business.
Please ensure your resume also highlights:
- Experience in the Utilities / Telecommunication industry in two or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Solution Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance and Support
- Extensive working experience and knowledge of the below technical / function activities.
- Understanding of other areas of meter to cash lifecycle including Customer Service in utilities
- Experience in configuration and problem-solving skills in SAP Finance Module FICO (ECC and S4), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Project Systems (PS).
- Experience in Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA).
- Relevant business experience in key metering and revenue functions and processes
- Relevant business experience in market interactions
- Experience in delivering services within a commercial framework
- Strong understanding of application architecture
- Excellent analysis, problem management & design skills
- Ability to Coach, Mentor and develop technical staff
