iPlay Australia now has 24 venues across QLD, NSW, ACT & WA, with the inclusion of regional areas such as Rockhampton, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo Cairns. We also have Satellite Arcades in over 200 individual sites and this area of our business is set to grow remarkably over the next 12 months.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the iPlay Australia technical team as a part-time or fulltime Satellite Arcade Auditor and Cash Collections Agent. Based in Brisbane or Sydney, your role is to ensure comprehensive auditing of game play and redemption stock as well as collect and bank cash payments by following a calendar to ensure all machines receive regular maintenance and cleaning. Some basic technical knowledge to unblock coin jams and plush prizes will be taught.
You will be representing iPlay Australia and visit sites in hotels and out of home entertainment venues as well as in malls and shopping strips.
A travelling role!!
A week in the life of your new role:
Mostly working out of our Woolloongabba office (Brisbane appointment) or from Broadway (Sydney), you will be responsible for:
- Reporting technical faults to the Regional Manager
- Carry out basic repairs, perform basic preventative maintenance
- Test games and attractions regularly
- Order required inventory stock including plush and confectionary
- Securely remove monies collected in arcade machines and bank daily
- Under advisement of the Regional Manager, be on call during all operational hours for urgent service calls
- Audit machines and remove monies from the machine
- Count monies and distribute to bank daily
- Full-time and Part-time roles available, work one or two days per week or between school hours as suits you.
- Pay 95c/km plus tolls and other fees.
- Full-time role may be eligible for a company car.
About you:
- Professional and friendly personality
- Hold a National Police Check or be willing to receive one
- Ability to count money using money counters and record accurately
- Your own vehicle that has adequate insurance and road worthiness (km paid as per award rates where a vehicle tracking device we supply is utilised)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of the team, prioritising own work and the work of others within established policies, guidelines and procedures.
- 2 plus years in a similar role will be highly regarded but not essential: may include money collections or vending machine support
