About the Role
Our Schedulers ensure the timely and accurate rostering of staff to deliver responsive services to the Autism Association’s clients. You will ensure individual client needs can be supported by making sure the right staff with the right skills and qualifications are rostered to work with the individual. Duties include:
Management of Support Worker scheduling and rosters- Creating rosters and distributing them to Support Staff
- Undertaking scheduling to cover staff shortfalls including emergency replacement staff
- Processing leave requests, induction paperwork, training schedules, new starters & invoices
- Maintaining databases to ensure systems remain current
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Scheduler to work 32 hours per week. You will have strong communication skills and be confident speaking with individuals from all demographics and backgrounds. You’ll have a systematic approach, excellent attention to detail and confidence in working across multiple platforms. You have a ‘can do’ attitude and are proactive and logical in your problem-solving approach. To succeed in this role you will also have:
Scheduling or rostering experience, preferably within the Disability or Aged Care sector, or similar- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management and rostering software
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong customer service focus with understanding of person-centred and inclusive support of people with Autism
- Proven ability to use initiative and work both independently and in a collaboratively
