We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinatorto join our friendly and dedicated national aged care scheduling team till March 2025- with a potential to extend the contract. This is a full-time position located in Riverview, Queensland, 4303.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the effective management, coordination, and data entry of rosters within the organisation. You will be part of a dedicated team of 8, who look after 21 sites in total nationally.
Specific tasks of this position include:
Rostering
- Dedicated agency booking tasks
- Ensuring that the Centre is fully staffed for the work fortnight
- Replace any unplanned vacant shifts
- Reconciling agency invoicing against booking sheets
- Reconciling agency charges against the rate cards
- Ensure Kronos entries are correct
Payroll
- Clearing daily timekeeping functions and exceptions
- Ensure payroll deadlines are met
- Processing fortnightly payroll
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
- An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of the aged care industry
- Highly developed secretarial, administrative/organisational skills
- An understanding of and a commitment (or the ability to rapidly acquire) to the Commonwealth Accreditation of aged care facilities.
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills with work colleagues, professional people and general public
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with people at all levels
- Ability to meet deadlines

- Problem solving skills
- Customer focused, service oriented approach
Nice to have:
- Certificate III in Business Administration
- Kronos scheduling system Knowledge
- Previous experience working in an aged care environment structure
- Previous experience as a Receptionist/Administration background highly desirable.
