John Therry Catholic College is a Catholic co-educational school situated in Rosemeadow in the city of Campbelltown and part of the Diocese of Wollongong. Established by the Marist Brothers the College maintains a strong Marist charism, tradition and affiliation with Marist Ministries. The College provides a wide curriculum to approximately 1006 students as we strive for academic success while offering many sporting, cultural and extracurricular opportunities. A temporary part time position commencing 30 January 2024 until 20 December 2024.
This is a position of support services for students, staff, parents and school administration.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Experience in administration and general office processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google suite of applications.
- Ability to process data in a variety of forms and produce reports.
- Ability to interact positively with students.
- Effective organisational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.
- Familiarity with Tech One and Compass systems.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to relate effectively with parents/carers,staff and students.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated positive attitude to innovation and change .
- Certificate II in Office Procedures or related study.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
