Join our student services team in this new role as a Careers Support Officer- Careers Administration.
This is a permanent part-time role during school term time, with a minimum of 18 hours per week allocated in support of our Careers Counsellor. These hours can be spread over 3 to 5 days, depending on the availability of the successful candidate.
The Careers Support Officer is a critical role in the support of staff in the preparation, delivery, and communication of career education activities for the College. They are a key member of the team in the support of the growing needs of senior years students with their career exploration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting documentation processes with employers and parents for student work experience placements
- Schedule appointments and assist managing the calendar for our Careers Counsellor
- Complete administration duties to support students engaged in external VETIS and SAT courses.
- Manage careers-related communication to keep the College community informed of opportunities for students
- Respond to student enquiries and provide initial assistance as required for careers-related matters
