About the Role:
We've recently acquired a screen printing machine to streamline our printing processes, and we're now in search of an experienced and hands-on Screen Printer to spearhead this initiative. As our newest team member, you'll be leading the charge in innovation, utilizing specialized equipment to transfer captivating designs onto various surfaces. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring each print is executed with precision and quality, setting a new standard for excellence in our industry.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of screen-printing operations, ensuring seamless alignment and impeccable printing quality.
- Conducting thorough quality checks to guarantee each label boasts unmatched clarity and accuracy.
- Maintaining our equipment in peak condition through regular maintenance and cleaning, ensuring optimal functionality with every print.
- Championing our commitment to safety by fostering a work environment that's both efficient and secure for all team members.
- Collaborating closely with our production team, devising strategies to meet deadlines and exceed expectations at every opportunity.
The role is based in Ferntree Gully; and hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:06pm.
