SCRUM MASTER - MELBOURNE - CONTRACT POSITIONPLEASE NOTE - CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN MELBOURNE AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.Contract length: initially 6 months (further extensions highly likely)
Daily rate: up to AU$950 per day (including super)

Location: MelbourneOur clientOur client is a global, ASX listed organisation, based in Melbourne CBD.The roleAs the Scrum Master, organise stand ups and scrum events as and when required, ensuring team compliance, share your knowledge with the wider teams (coaching and developing others) to adopt the scrum methodology and be a key part of guiding and facilitating the changes into a more agile way of working.Key Deliverables;

• Strongly serving the project team to maintain customer delight.
• Operate in a hybrid software delivery environment with either a deliverable focus or priority of scope focus.
• Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example.
• Be the personification of Scrum / Agile.
• Coaching and guiding the scrum team and organisation on how to get the most out of self-organisation practices and values.
• Assessing the scrum maturity and looking to develop at a sustainable pace.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove the team by finding the right personnel to aid the removal.
• Championing a trusting and safe environment.
• Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictating the work.

ExperienceTo qualify for this Scrum Master opportunity applicants must possess:

• Minimum 2 years' Scrum Master experience in Australia
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst is higly desirable
• Knowledge of software design and development
• Sound knowledge of Agile development (BDD/TDD, Automated Builds, Continuous Integration, Code Quality Metrics, Agile Test Frameworks).
• Proven technical and project team leadership.
• Delivery focussed.
• First class collaboration and communication skills.
• Lean/Agile Project Management experience.
• Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and transparency.
• Keen interest in emerging technology.
• Background as a Software Developer would be beneficial.
