We are looking for a Chef to assist the manager in a growing Seafood business. This role requires a creative person that can work independently and is an amazing team player.
Our food is modern take away and fresh seafood. Our focus is to create a great experience for all customers by providing amazing food and a friendly service to our local community. We are constantly changing and growing. By joining our newly created team you will have the opportunity to put your own touch to what we are going to deliver.
Duties include but not limited to:
Cooking
Customer service
Filleting of fresh
Food preparation
Cleaning
Maintaining inventory
Cash handling
Maintaining food health & safety
Menu development
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong customer service skills
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Drive, passion, creativity and initiative in the food industry
The ability to see opportunities for change
Good understanding of seafood
This job involves working with both senior & junior staff. The candidate must possess good organisational and communication skills. Great time management skills and the ability to work under pressure, are essential for this position.
Availability for evening and weekend.
