WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:
As the SEO Manager, you will be the driving force behind our clients' digital success stories. Your responsibilities will involve crafting and executing impactful SEO strategies to enhance our clients' online presence. Engaging in keyword research, staying ahead of trends, and identifying optimization opportunities will be integral to your role. Working closely with our talented team, you will guide content creation, on-page optimizations, and technical enhancements to secure top-notch Search Engine rankings. Your innate ability to monitor and analyse website performance metrics will enable you to fine-tune strategies and provide data-backed insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Staying abreast of Search Engine algorithms and industry best practices is crucial to ensuring our agency remains at the forefront of innovation and calculated risk-taking.
In addition, your line management skills will be essential as you allocate tasks, set achievable goals, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in a specialised SEO role
- Agency experience
- A proven track record of developing and executing impactful SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve Search Engine rankings
- Experience or a strong desire to lead a team of skilled SEO specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve team and individual goals
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with content creators, designers, and developers for seamless implementation of on-page optimizations and technical enhancements
- Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to derive actionable insights and refine strategies
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest Search Engine algorithms and industry best practices to keep our agency at the forefront of innovation
- Managing client relationships by providing clear reporting, insightful recommendations, and excellent communication to ensure client satisfaction
- Confidence in leading and participating in client meetings, presenting strategies, progress, and results effectively
- Strong time management skills, monitoring and managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for optimal project execution
- An undeniable passion for SEO, continuously evaluating and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency and performance across the SEO team
