IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.
About the opportunity
This is an ongoing opportunity to join the Information Security team within IMTD reporting to the Information Security Manager.
The Security Ananlyst role provides cyber risk advisory, specifically as it relates to third-party supplier risk, in a fast, high-volume service. This role will actively utilise available platforms to provide insights and ongoing security response to maintain the department's security posture.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Cyber Security or related field
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, evaluating third-party security practices, and making recommendations based on findings.
- Proven experience conducting security threat assessments to identify risks and inform on recommended mitigations that support designs, product selection and procurement.
- Seeks to Identify and implement improvement opportunities, strategy for improved efficiency, productivity gains, best practices.
