Our Explosive Ordnance (EO) Systems team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of systems and solutions, all across Australia.
The Security Manager is a member of the Safety & Compliance team, which is dedicated to maintaining compliance with contractual controls and legislative requirements. This team provides technical advice and support across various areas, including EO Technical Safety, Facilities, Workplace Health and Safety, Environment, Quality, Authorised Maintenance Organization, Major Hazard Facilities, and Security.
Working at our Orchard Hills site, on Darug land, your role purpose is to -
Maintain DISP accreditation status through effective management of the Security Management System
Lead and manage the security team, ensuring security management within EO Services by adhering to contractual controls, DISP accreditation, and policies.
Manage the Security Compliance Program and Security Performance Review Program
Provide advice and support on security activities to EO Depots and the EO Services SO Network.
Conduct security audits of subcontractors and facilitate external audits by Defense Authorities.
Manage subcontractor performance and organizational personnel security activities.
Conduct sensitive security related investigations when required
Fulfill the role of EO Services Technology Control Officer (TCO) and manage ITAR requirements.
Participate in 'On-Call' activities for unforeseen events
On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:
Must have or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting Level 1
Sophisticated knowledge of Commonwealth PSPF/DSPF Regulations and ISO31000
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of staff across distributed sites
Must be available to travel intra/interstate on a frequent basis
Current Drivers Licence
