Job Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the electronic security installation services industry. You will collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that maximize market penetration and profitability. Your ability to understand clients' needs, build strong relationships, and present compelling solutions will be the key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively seek and develop new leads through various channels, including cold-calling, networking events, industry conferences, and digital platforms.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while establishing new relationships with key decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Solution Presentations: Collaborate with technical teams to understand our electronic security systems thoroughly and effectively present solutions to clients, showcasing their benefits and value.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to the specific needs of potential clients, demonstrating how our electronic security solutions can meet their requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached, and all parties' interests are safeguarded.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven Track Record: Minimum of five years of experience in Business Development, sales, or relevant roles within the electronic security industry, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electronic security systems, installation services, and the broader security industry landscape.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and drive mutually beneficial agreements.
- Results-Driven: A self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a passion for delivering results and driving business growth.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new markets.
- Hold a current NSW driver’s licence.
- Hold a current NSW class 2AB Security Licence
