Summary
BluGlass is currently seeking an experienced Semiconductor Process Engineer to assist in the development of our cutting-edge remote plasma chemical vapour deposition (RPCVD) technology and to operate metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) equipment for fabrication of thin film semiconductors for visible laser diode applications.

The Company is at an exciting growth phase of the business and is seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Semiconductor Process Engineer for the operation of thin film deposition equipment, materials characterisation, and the development and optimisation semiconductor deposition processes.

Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for operating RPCVD and MOCVD equipment for GaN-based semiconductor materials and device development
- Drive Semiconductor Process development and contribute to equipment design.
- Develop optimised processes for GaN-based semiconductor device structures.
- Provide written reports and SOPs.
Education
Minimum Bachelors in a semiconductor related Engineering field or similar field (Physics, Chemistry, Material Science).
Master’s and PhD graduates strongly encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Recent Masters or PhD graduates with relevant lab experience, or Undergraduates with minimum 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Experience with high vacuum (HV) or ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) equipment.
- Cleanroom working environment experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device design (LEDs, Laser Diodes, Solar Cells, Transistors).
- Hands-on thin film deposition equipment experience a plus.
- MOCVD experience is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Programming experience a plus (Matlab, Python, Labview, C#, VB, database).

- Excellent analytical, organisational, planning and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills are incredibly important for success in this role.
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced research and engineering environment.
