Company Description

We deliver what we call Irresistible Commerce; Creative solutions that are equally personal, valuable & delightful - confidently planned, measured and optimized across the connected shopper journey. We understand the challenges faced by both marketing and trade teams and we work as a conduit to deliver integrated impactful shopper campaigns.

We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our small but mighty team of Retail/Shopper communication experts. You will have a deep understanding of shopper agency and client principles and practices, and work closely with our GM on some of Australia's most beloved brands.

You will be responsible for taking client briefs, providing strategic recommendations, writing creative briefs, briefing Creatives, reviewing work, presenting work and managing the production of Print, Collateral, Sponsorship and Online materials.

You will be a whiz at disseminating information to key stakeholders and clients, including but not limited to schedules, cost estimates and valuable market/competitive information and insights. You will manage all aspects of concept development through to production and delivery, including timelines, budgets, and briefing the accuracy of final materials. You will lead and organise regular client WIP meetings and gain the trust of our clients and be someone they can rely on, whose opinion is valued and be a key partner in the success of their business.

We're looking for someone who has/is:

  • 3+ years' experience managing consumer promotions end to end.
  • Strong communication skills with good presentation and selling skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. You know how to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills - This should be particularly evident when preparing correspondence, reviewing estimates, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all material is impeccable and accurate i.e. thorough checking of contact reports/WIP documents, etc. to ensure there are no errors; checking all content being produced from KVs to animations and websites, agendas, etc. are correct; ensuring accuracy of all projects.
  • Proactive, responsive, and self-starting. You take ownership of projects as relevant (but also know when to delegate responsibility upward).
  • Inquisitive and able to assimilate information and insight.
  • Great problem-solving skills - You are able to suggest and implement solutions for day-to-day challenges.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Strong Computer literacy and proficient in Word, Power Point and Excel.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Contributing to Strategy development - Understanding the client's business inside and out, gathering data, and offering insights into competitors.
  • Contributing to Creative development - Evaluating Creative and judging whether it accomplishes the stated goals. Understanding good shopper marketing. Ensuring approval of brief prior to jobs going into creative/studio and supporting Designers and Creatives throughout development process (e.g. sourcing of information, materials etc.).
  • Leading client meetings and organising materials and presentations of all types (including project kick off meetings, internal reviews of creative, internal and client WIP meetings and client presentations)
  • Organising and managing all aspects of concept development through to production in an accurate and timely way.
  • Overseeing all elements of consumer promotion management, including understanding legal restrictions by state across Australia and New Zealand, briefing and managing terms and conditions, overseeing website development, reporting and third-party sourcing and management.
  • Sharing information appropriately and ensuring all files and documentation are properly maintained, ensuring agency team and client are up to date as appropriate on work in progress items, competitive activity, production schedules and costs/issues, client and legal approvals etc.
  • Assessing and maintaining competitive information as well as producing relevant competitive reviews.
  • Accuracy and integrity of the billing system, managing the JCRs for specific projects and helping to ensure the invoicing process is adhered to.
