An exciting opportunity has arisen within the New Developments team at nbn. The New Developments team works with property developers and the building and construction industry across the country to bring the power and potential of the nbn network to hundreds of thousands of new lots, buildings, and communities every year.
A bit about your role
Reporting to the Account Director, the role of Senior Account Manager is to effectively engage, develop, manage and grow relationships within the property industry (top developers, consultants, councils and industry bodies) in Queensland. This is a strategic role within the New Developments Sales group.
In this role you will create and implement effective direct relationships with external stakeholders which include developers, builders, consultants, and industry as well as government organisations. You will efficiently manage the operational agreements to enable timely network delivery which will allow you to achieve sales and revenue targets and deliver against the quarterly contact plan. Internally you will collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain relevant standards, policies, procedures, and controls to effectively deliver customer needs as well as pro-actively communicate the voice of the customer to assist internally identifying improvements or gaps in our product and service offering.
You will also champion nbn being the provider of first choice in industry forums and associations.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you it is likely you will have experience of the property development market in Queensland with strong and well-established relationships in place. A minimum of 3 years experience as an Account Manager or a similar type of role applying a broad understanding of the commercial telecommunications/IT infrastructure or development industry and the market place to identify new business or business improvement opportunities and deliver commercial solutions in a regulated environment is required and have highly developed business skills with complex stakeholder management skills.
You will have exceptional communication, organisation and interpersonal skills as well as strong resilience and tenacious traits. The ability to proactively generate sales pipeline opportunities and demonstrated ability to drive engagement and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders is critical with a strong outcome and action orientated focus mindset.
