Our client, a global real estate development, investment, and property management company is a known player to the Australian property industry. With over 14 assets across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and Adelaide, across industrial and commercial.
To join a nimble team of 4, they are looking for a mature and experienced Property Accountant to manage the full finance function in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
Typical duties will include;

• Preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, Corporate tax and BAS reporting, audit schedules, bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Work closely with outsourced service providers and review the work submitted.
• Liaise with the global finance teams for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities; and budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and tax compliance matters.
• Treasury related matters such as bank covenant reporting, cash flow management and forecasting.
• Required to perform credit review on vendors/tenants, as well as other ad-hoc matters

To be a qualified candidate you would need:

• CPA/CA qualification and/or Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant hands-on experience in Real estate
• Understanding and experience with AASB framework as well as Australia income tax and GST legislation.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with SAP system would be advantageous.
• Responsible, meticulous, analytical, organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
