SalaryMichael Page is partnering with an international provider of innovative financial services to private, corporate and institutional customers to recruit a Senior Accountant/Finance Manager position to play a pivotal role in the lean Finance function of the Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced qualified Accountant looking to elevate their career. This position will be based in Melbourne's CBD.

Description
Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Accountability for Group financial accounting matters including, IFRS and AASB compliance and annual financial audit
- Management reporting to Group senior leaders and parent company
- Risk based capital requirements (Rule 1A), including liquidity calculations (cash flows) for subsidiaries in accordance with AFSL
- Commission calculations for B2Bs
- Prepare reporting pack for Head Office
- Prepare year end schedules and manage auditors Dashboard
- Group tax accounting, tax planning and tax reporting including FBT and BAS
- Maintaining regular cash flow forecasts and advise on future cash requirements
Profile
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience working in Financial Services/ASX participant business/regulated industry
- Ability to work both autonomously in a lean team, and collaboratively as part of a broader group
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with SUN Systems desired
