About the job
We are seeking a motivated Senior Analyst Developer to join our team. Analyst Developers at IT Visions are all-rounders who design databases, write complex retail business logic and at times interact with clients to determine their business needs.
They also work closely with business analysts, testers, and other members of the project team to produce and support valued software solutions. Developers will be expected to learn all about our application, the business, and the industry we operate in.
This is a permanent full-time role in Melbourne, commencing in our Cremorne Office. We will be moving to Camberwell soon.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist the business analyst in the creation of user story definitions and acceptance criteria
- At times, communicate with clients and interpret complex retail business requirements and translate into high-transactional, high-availability, secure, working systems
- Design and build the highly intuitive user interfaces with backend code
- Provide solutions and recommendations for the resolution of technical issues that arise and ensure solutions meet the technical specs and design requirements
- Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, best practices, useful technology, and opportunities for cross-project system design / solutions
- Provide assistance to our Support Team to resolve complex issues

- Experience with Microsoft .NET development products, including .NET, C#, WinForms, Reporting Services and SQL Server
- Experience with web development, including ASP.NET and .NET Core
- Experience with legacy .NET development products would be beneficial (ASP.NET MVC, VB.NET, legacy .NET Framework versions)
- Experience with RESTFUL API and Soap API beneficial
- Confident, and able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment
- Independent, self-directing working style
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast-paced industry
- Hard-working, innovative and takes pride in their work
- Passionate about creating innovative solutions for customers
- Commitment to working around project deadlines
