Senior Accountant

The Role

• Oversee and develop Metropole's accounting processes nationally.
• Manage 3 offshore accounting staff in the Philippines.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports for the Metropole Group of Companies
• Work with our CFO to develop cash flows, budgets and forecasts.

Your Duties

• Daily and monthly accounting processes
• Manage accounts payable and receivable. 
• Manage payroll.
• Oversee preparation of creditor payment runs.
• Update cash flow forecasts
• Oversee preparation of monthly / quarterly BAS, IAS and payroll tax
• Preparation of monthly financial reports
• Assist with preparing analytical reports
• Monitor and mentor/train Philippine staff 
• Liaise with external accountants regarding income tax preparation for the various Metropole entities
• Liaise with department heads regarding accounting information and needs.

Your Experience

• Qualified CA / CPA with 3 years post qualification experience
• Strong computer skills especially Excel 
• Exposure to small business accounting packages 
• Consistent, accurate, and thorough, with an detail eye for details
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
