Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

• Botany (Southern Sydney) offices, with a day work-from-home flexibility
• Circa $120,000-135,000 + super
• Take a lead on process improvement

The Opportunity
My client is a well-established investment group across the property sector and various other asset classes. Due to growth, a newly created opportunity exists for an astute Senior Accountant or Finance Manager to join their tight-knit finance team.
Reporting into the FC, the Senior Accountant will ensure that the financial transactions, recording, reporting, and analysis are prepared in an accurate and timely manner, in compliance with the internal processes and under statutory requirements.
This role will also perform an integral role in the transformation to support further growth, ensuring the effectiveness of its IT systems and ongoing process redevelopment.
About you

• CA/CPA qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years experience in business services or general accounting with experience across tax and month-end
• Proactive in identifying areas of improvement and are someone who will drive opportunities to do so

Preferred experience (not essential):

• Understanding of tax positioning and planning
• Demonstrated process mapping and Financial Statement preparation experience
