Senior Accountant, Inventory

We're currently recruiting a Senior Accountant to primarily support our growing Streaming Aggregation business to play a key role in preparing detailed analysis of financial data, interpreting results for business understanding, and performing various accounting processes to support the Financial Control team.
In this newly created role, you will be introducing a range of new processes to support our new Streaming aggregation business activities. This role will be focused on designing and performing processes across a variety of inventory streams with evolving complexity. Key tasks will include but not limited to:
- Performing detailed analysis across a variety of business streams to interpret and provide insight to month end results
Preparation of transactional analysis and reconciliation across a range of inventory solutions.
Supporting preparation of cash flow modelling
Interpreting new contracts and ensuring preparation of monthly journals and reconciliations to align with evolving accounting policies
Various recurring and ad-hoc reporting for accounting analysis
Delivery of efficient, accurate, and insightful accounting results and proactively identifying opportunities to optimise newly created finance processes
Ad-hoc transactional processes to support the Finance Management team
Your experience
- 5 years + Accounting experience in similar role (Telco / Supply Chain / Hardware experience highly desirable)
Commercial mindset and strong analytical skills
Working knowledge and understanding of large ERP system (PeopleSoft/Oracle preferred)
Exposure to various inventory systems and processes
Team player, self-starter, fast learner, attention to detail
Comfortable navigating though a changing and complex environment and adapting to challenges and opportunities as they arise
A passion for Entertainment - we're big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customer
