The Opportunity:
This fulltime position reports to the Finance Manager. Our Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the control, reporting and administration of financial activities of the company.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining fixed assets register and depreciation.
- EOFY reconciliation.
- Mentor and oversee accounting team on daily operations.
- Support payroll team.
Month end processes include:
- Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Inventory reconciliations.
- Intercompany loan reconciliation.
- Intercompany creditors debtors' reconciliation.
- Month end accruals.
- BAS/ PAYG calculations and lodgments.
The Person:
- You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Finance/Accounting role within a dynamic environment with a good understanding of accounting standards. This will be underpinned by your tertiary qualifications in accounting.
- Ideal candidate will have sound experience with MYOB ADVANCED.
