The role:

This is a broad scope Senior Accountant role. Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ownership of the Trial Balance, General Ledger Accounting & Reporting and oversee day-to-day transactional activities.
• Month-end closing and management reporting.
• End to end ownership of the payroll function.
• Assistance in FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting and proposed project and acquisition analysis and assessment.
• Treasury Accounting, including banking compliance reporting.
• On-going focus on process improvement both for items within the scope of your day-to-day role and for the broader organisation.
• Support the business with financial queries investigating queries and suggestions.
• Year-end statutory reporting including leadership of the relationship with our external auditors with assistance from the CFO as required.
• Assist the with the preparation of direct and indirect taxes.

About you:

• CA/CPA qualified, with at least one year of experience post qualification.
• Enthusiastic with a passion for process improvement and driving change.
• Mid-tier or Big 4 audit or business services experience required. Ideal for a first or second mover.
• Statutory IFRS financial reporting experience.
