We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic Finance team based at the Company's Head Office in Silverwater, New South Wales.
About the Role
Reporting into the Group Shared Services Manager, the Senior Accounts Payable Officer will manage the authorization, posting and reporting of trade creditors in an accurate and timely manner ensuring payments are received within agreed terms. You will undertake a range of operational activities associated with Accounts Payable including providing escalation point for complex queries providing advice to clients and vendors, creditors file maintenance, monthly reconciliations, invoicing and claims management and other relevant duties as required. Operating in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, your key goal will be to:
- Build strong relationships with trade creditors and internal departments.
- Manage Accounts Payable email inbox
- Daily process of a minimum of 120 invoices per day, working with relevant departments for approval
- Ensure invoices in Workflow system are coded and approved
- Management including processing and tracking of overseas trade payments
- Local and overseas EFT processing of payments
- Processing Corporate Credit cards and staff expenses
- Supplier Reconciliations
About You:
We are looking for an outstanding candidate with the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable preferably within FMCG
- Good statement reconciliation skills
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Strong Excel skills – ability to complete Vlook-up and Pivot tables.
- A stable career history showing progression and personal growth.
- Minimum HSC preferably with a diploma/certificate in Accounting
