Senior Accounts Receivable Officer (Collections)

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. This position is integral to providing a compelling customer experience to our business and our customers and is responsible for completing all collections processes for the organisation.

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to collect outstanding monies owed to TechnologyOne within required time frames.

• Take charge of the Credit Control functions, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding amounts and the maintenance of outstanding debts.

• Prepare and maintain debtors' reports, providing regular updates on the status of all debtors.

• Manage dispute resolution; escalating customer issues when necessary to the Collections Team Leader for effective resolution.

• Accept payment arrangements and settlements within an approved level, ensuring compliance with TechnologyOne policies and procedures.

• Challenge the status quo and drive enhancements of our finance and collections process design.

• Minimum 2 years experience in an Accounts Receivable/collections role with a medium ASX listed company;
• Demonstrated customer service and stakeholder management skills;
• Demonstrated understanding of debt, credit and collections procedures;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task & competently manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work as part of a team to achieve business outcomes;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
• Tertiary Accounting/Business qualification preferred
