About the role This is a growth role designed for a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our established finance team. Reporting to the Revenue and Credit Control Manager you will play a crucial role in managing the company's credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payment from customers while maintaining positive relationships and minimizing credit risk. You will be responsible for the coordination and processing of all on/off hire activities, process a high-volume of invoices and assist with internal and external invoice queries. You will be required to liaise with all departments within the business to assist with the end to end process of on/off hire.In your new role, you will be responsible for tasks such as;Collection of client debt and making collection callsManaging accounts in accordance with company credit terms and policies.Development and implementation of appropriate strategies necessary for settlement of client debtsEnsures all credit/refund requests are prepared in accordance with policy/procedureApplying payments receivedPrepare and process subcontractor agreementsReview and approve credit applicationsProcessing cash (COD) payments in advanceCompleting daily invoicing Monitor correct invoicing, and ensure invoices have been billed correctly by liaising with respective internal stakeholders Responding to any invoicing queries About you You will have strong experience working in the finance sector within Accounts Receivable and Credit Control. You must be a confident communicator and have the ability to build strong relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual who can provide support to our finance team and wider business, someone who is solutions focused and proactive will find success in this role. Although it is not essential candidates with building services/construction experience will be highly regarded.
