Job Description
As Senior Finance Officer within the Accounts Receivables team, ensure effective processing of medium to high complexity accounts and daily incoming transactions to the University General Ledger. These include National and International. Use your skills and experience to drive meaningful change. Here’s how you’ll make it matter:
- Receipt/process transactions in the Griffith University bank accounts
- Follow up unclaimed deposits
- Resolve discrepancies in bank receipting
- Process student refunds
- Reconciliation of Foreign currency accounts
You will be well trained and supported in learning all aspects of Griffiths AR team and internal systems. You will then have the opportunity to gain further skills and integrate into the wider Financial Service Delivery team, involving you in such activities as student financials, cash flow organisation and banking relationships.

- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivables within in a large corporate, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

This is a fixed term (until 23/7/2025), full time position and can be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $74,016 - $83,033 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,599 - $97,149 per annum.
