About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Administration Officer within the Gastro Outpatients Department.
The Senior Administrative Officer role provides guidance to and manages the day-to-day administrative staff functions and roster within the Gastroenterology Outpatient unit.
The Senior Administrative Officer role includes developing procedures and guidelines relating to the Gastroenterology Outpatient Wait Lists, cancelling, and amending appointments, handling patient information, reporting and assisting with hands-on learning. It participates in quality activities through key performance indicators, checking accuracy of data collection.
Sound, confidential communication skills for managing staff both written and verbal including appropriate telephone etiquette and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and an ability to liaise with key stakeholders, particularly medical and nursing and midwifery staff.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
