The successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for supporting the business's current and future growth through the management of its tenement and pastoral portfolios, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and reporting commitments.You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and managing current and future tenement requirements to maintain operations and develop brownfields operations and new projects.
- Reviewing and managing all documentation related to land maintenance, protection, acquisition, and relinquishment.
- Preparing and submitting technical reports and documentation for statutory compliance.
- Reviewing and managing third party agreements under joint ventures and monitor non-managed third-party arrangements.
- Alternate for Administrator - Land and Tenements when required.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel this role would suit a detailed and process-oriented person.You will also have:
- Degree in Geology will be highly advantageous
- Five years’ experience in a similar role in Mining
- Good knowledge of the Mining Act (1978), Mining Regulations (1981), and Amendments, and other relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with the Aboriginal Heritage Act and Native Title Act.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Management Systems(Preferred)
- Experience with Mining and GIS Software(ArcGIS, acQuire, Centric)
- Experience with WA Government applications – Tengraph, WAMEX, MTO, EARS. EAR2, Royalties Online
