A new opportunity for a Senior Advisor to provide leadership and guidance across projects being delivered in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and managing initiatives to achieve objectives while maintaining a professional delivery to all stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- establish and manage project plans for large strategic projects and initiatives, including project structures, governance, and key performance indicators
- design and implement project management methodology for consistent and efficient project
- collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate cross-functional teamwork, and maintain relationships with internal project partners
- manage project financials, develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and explore external funding opportunities
- assess and manage project governance, reporting, risk mitigation, and data integrity throughout implementation
- source and align critical staff, reallocating resources as needed to fill gaps and meet project deliverables
- demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or large complex projects
- demonstrated people management experience, including managing staff performance and development
- significant experience managing and controlling budgets
- accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining strict deadlines and various competing demands
- demonstrated ability to lead strategy and policy development, planning and reviewing policies
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills
- sound understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration.
