The opportunity
The primary purpose of the Senior Analyst, Data Recovery is to be responsible for retrieval and provision of data to relevant business units across the transport cluster.
The Senior Analyst, Data Recovery is responsible for implementing and maintaining the data retrieval processes securely and maintaining the integrity of the data to the highest level of confidentiality.
The position involves being able to utilize all information systems within the organisation to provide information relevant to investigations / subpoenas / Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPA).
This role is a permanent full time based at Macquarie Park with flexible work options available for the right candidate.
As a Senior Analyst, Data Recovery, you will be expected to:
- Conduct identity and access management reviews against information assets, applications and systems. Provide assurance reporting and monitoring of information assets.
- Manage multiple requests for data recovery from across the transport cluster.
- Maintain confidentially and discretion in managing requests, communicating and delivering artefacts to stakeholders.
- Deliver artefacts on time, managing stakeholder expectations and advising delivery lead times.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and manage request pipeline through request fulfilment tool and provide regular reporting to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Take guidance on gathering information to support cross cluster misconduct, fraud and conduct investigations, GIPA requests and subpoenas for information.
- Ensure all Document requests are tracked and managed appropriately.
About you
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working with e-discovery and data recovery toolsets (e.g. Microsoft 365 Compliance)
- A working knowledge of IT service principles and frameworks including ITIL.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in information technology, preferably with a technical background.
- An intermediate understanding of technology and infrastructure.
- An understanding of security principles and security standards and best practice
- Knowledge of the processes and procedures required for legal and regulatory matters
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to operate within the values of customer focus, collaboration, Integrity, safety and solutions.
- To carry out responsibilities with professionalism, fairness, discretion, confidentiality, and commitment.
This position is a Transport Award Grade 8 paying ($123,470 - $138,284) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
