Senior Associate - Architect

A highly respected mid sized studio design studio renowned for creating beautiful residential projects is currently seeking a talented Architect to join their studio.  This is a senior leadership role and will suit a talented Architect with additional management skills. 

Key responsibilities

• Working under a Principal you will run projects and teams
• Play a key role on all stages of projects
• Provide technical expertise on large scale apartment projects
• Provide expertise on boutique apartment projects and an understanding of Class 2 requirements 
• Ensure outstanding design quality, and beautifully resolved details

Skills and experience

• Completed tertiary education in architecture
• A minimum of 10 years’ professional practice experience
• Experience on high quality houses and apartments including local Sydney experience on apartments ($2M - $100M)
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred
• Great attention to detail, documentation and detailing ability
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong time management skills 
• Ability to plan out resources, review fees, negotiate variations and other management tasks will be highly valued 
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment
