As Senior Audit Manager you will undertake audit projects that are central to the annual audit plan. You will possess strong internal audit experience and team leading capabilities. You will be required to team lead audits and provide support to team members as needed. You will provide challenge and insights on the control environment and engage with management to develop sustainable solutions that deliver what matters for our customers, the Board and regulators. Particular areas of focus include, but are not limited to: finance, treasury, regulatory and delivery risk management.
Your experience in operational risk and compliance management across the financial services industry will be leveraged and developed further. You will bring an understanding and interest in the impact of regulatory expectations with respect to risk management and will have the opportunity to contribute to the Bank's response and approach to these expectations through audit review activity.
You will manage audit projects of medium size and/or medium to high complexity in line with the annual Audit Plan, reviewing specific business areas and assessing the adequacy and appropriateness of the risk controls in place.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Stakeholder Management: Track record in developing and maintaining effective connections. Good negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills.
- Technical capabilities: Strong team leading experience in carrying out audits, project management skills, including working with multiple stakeholders and team members across geographies, and with complex, sometimes ambiguous subject matter. Ability to plan effectively and support team members (with varying skill set and experience) to deliver audit projects within approved timeframes.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver key audit messages and recommendations effectively. Excellent listening and interpreting capabilities.
- Resilience: Experience in supporting and overcoming resistance to change. Constantly delivers on assigned goals and strives to better these goals despite obstacles, setbacks or uncertainty.
- Culture: Have a growth mindset and be curious to understand the business and regulatory environment.
- Accountability: Positive, self-starter who takes accountability for assigned tasks and sees them through to completion.
- Data skills: Awareness of approaches and techniques for analysing and interpreting data, with a focus on driving efficiency in audit execution.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualified, ideally with Professional (CPA/CA) and / or Post Graduate qualifications with technically relevant skills (i.e. accounting, audit, operational risk, compliance).
