THE OPPORTUNITY
- Acting as a dedicated account manager and point of contact for your clients.
- Ability to work between multiple clients efficiently.
- Answering client questions, chasing up paperwork and looking for areas of improvement
- Recording transactions and journal entries accurately
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Processing payroll for employees on various awards
- Identifying and recording accrued expenses
- Assisting in preparation of end of year financials
- Ad-hoc reporting and processing tasks as required.
- Full accounts data entry using the Dext app, MYOB and Xero
- Data processing in preparation of monthly P&L reporting and expense analysis
- Full responsibility of Accounts Payable
- Manage all daily banking duties and reconciliations.
- Regular communication with our customers and suppliers following up on outstanding items by phone and email.
- Work with accountants to produce yearly financials.
- A Minimum of 4 years’ prior experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MYOB and Xero accounting packages, and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- A Can-Do and proactive nature and work style
- Experience in AP, AR, and Payroll as well as BAS and Tax
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines & time pressures.
- Excellent verbal, written and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Proficient and fast keyboard skills - attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
