Qualifications & experience
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Experience with more complicated payroll that requires additional calculations and considerations
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to priorities tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Payroll
- Generating invoices as part of re-charging costs between business units
- Month end close including posting manual journals
- Submission of BAS / IAS returns
- Liaising with tax accounts around year end company tax returns
- Maintenance of accounting software (Xero)
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts including cash flows and to provide insights into the business's financial performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
This is a full-time role but can accommodate school hrs for the right Candidate
