Thiel Partners is a well-established accounting and advisory practice based in Surfers Paradise. The firm offers a range of services including accounting, tax and compliance, audit and business advisory to a diverse mix of client and industries. 

Thiel Partners is seeking to engage an experienced and motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. This full time role will provide bookkeeping services to our firms clients including accounts payable and receivable, bank and point of sale reconciliations, fixed assets and inventory, payroll, financial reporting and other related duties. 

This position requires the successful candidate to possess the following:

• minimum 4-5 years bookkeeping experience, including prior experience dealing with small to medium size business owners
• prior experience implementing payroll automation for clients
• ability to mentor and support fellow team members
• ability to work independently on tasks
• exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 
• strong attention to detail
• proficient in a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB, Reckon and Quickbooks
• strong organisational skills
• intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
