About this role
As an experienced Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant you will play a key role in the continual growth of the company. You will undertake all duties associated with this role including reconciliation of client accounts & invoices, payroll, ATO requirements, payments & administrative duties. You will manage stakeholders & maintain a positive client focus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable & payable processing with assisted software automation
- Involvement in payroll & superannuation
- Month-end & year-end profit reporting (following existing process & procedures)
- Ad-hoc bookkeeping & finance tasks as required
- Involvement in team meetings
- Contribute to team discussions & collaboration for continual process improvement
- Undertake regular training
- Administrative duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications in bookkeeping desirable but not essential
- Well rounded experience with Xero
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable & payroll experience
- Understanding of Australian tax & GST
- Great communication skills & ability to build relationships
- Approachable person that can contribute to discussions & an open, collaborative work culture
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable & punctual
- A friendly & fun personality are highly valued qualities!
